guest speaker

I absolutely loved our guest speaker. He was informative and was very entertaining. He proved to us that gay couples are just as normal as any straight couple. It fascinated me how he and his partner have been together for over 20 years, which is more than some straight couples I know. What I appreciated most about him was that he did not fit into the gay stereotype of today. He wasn’t flamboyant, over the top, or too girly. He was just a witty man trying to let people know how gay people live in this area. It was a nice change for me since my gay friends try very hard to live up to that stereotype.
