i was totally shocked to find realize that elementary school kids knew so much about the concept of homosexuality. i don't think i realized that they were around until middle school. i personally believe it is a good thing that teachers are starting to teach kids about homosexuality so that any assumptions of believed thoughts or rumors can be dispelled. Homosexuals are humans to and I think it is very responsible for teachers to let their students understand that.

The last movie we saw, the one about Billy Jack, had a fact that totally shocked me; the fact that some men who are totally violent and abusive towards gays tend to have gay tendencies themselves that they are trying to supress. And in order to try to supress those tendencies they take it out on innocent gay men. The experiment that furthered this Freudian theory shocked me yet again, but I also found it very interesting.
